Are you facing challenges with sleep? Whether it's difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking up without feeling refreshed, here are some tips that could enhance your sleep.

  • Evening Relaxation Routine:

Engage in calming activities each night to signal your body to wind down. Stretching, reading, following a skincare routine, or listening to soft music can all aid in establishing a sleep pattern for your body.

  • Finish eating 2-3 hours before bedtime

Your body requires time to digest food. Eating too late may lead to acid reflux, increased blood sugar, and weight gain.

  • Stop caffeine intake 8-10 hours before bed

Caffeine sensitivity varies among individuals, but avoiding it from early afternoon can enhance your sleep quality.

  • Avoid screens 60-90 minutes before bed

Blue light can suppress melatonin and delay your body's "night" signal.

Reducing screen brightness can help. Additionally, avoiding screens can reduce mental stimulation from watching, scrolling, and interacting with them.

  • Cool and dark room

Ideally, room temperature should be 65-68 degrees F.

Use blackout curtains to darken the room.

  • Consistent Schedule

Wake up at the same time every day, even on weekends or days off. This helps your body maintain a regular routine.

  • 10-15 minutes of Sunlight

Exposing yourself to sunlight within the first 30 minutes of waking can enhance your sleep quality. If you can't go outside, sit by a bright window. Sunlight boosts morning cortisol, providing natural energy.
